In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I wonder why Mr. Larson gives so little respect to ART as if engineering were as creative...lol. ART provides spirit and drawing helps the brain make unusual connections...DRAWING teaches students to slow down and to concentrate...to suspend thought and focus on SEEING and drawing is a lifelong discipline. Why are we taking intuition and art out of our very different discipline...I am saying we need to realize that seeing outside the box with heartfulness is the key to our future as well.
