@meswara2000 No it's not. It has Intel Core i7-970 six-core CPU and 8GB memory. Hard disk is slower, it's not SSD but it still meets today's standards, it's new with 64MB cache and 2TB.

@deathgod9307 it is not slow at all it has an i7 core duo processer. i play online games instantly. I only do 3 things on it edit my videos, surf the web, and play A.V.A.

@curatiflefleur - are u using windows 7 or xp ? lets look at the machine specs, drivers, etc and see if there is anything that could be a trigger for this instability.

@curatiflefleur It seems you have even more problem, for me audio works fine.
Bottom line: If you are going to open it for only half an hour then this is a very easy to use software. But if it's on for longer time it starts to hang and pisses you off every minute more and more. At least it does so on my computer.

@curatiflefleur - looks like its you dont have enough RAM, even maybe not enough hard disk space? a weak vga card, this could be the reason why u are having 'crappy previews'. i do have no theory for the audio though.

I have pd9 and it took me an hour and 36 minutes to render my 7 min video! i started at like 3 and it is almost 5 and still not on youtube.. Whats up with that??

I have this one and I am not so impressed as it's shown here. It's very easy to find commands, you don't need any tutorial or help. BUT, after some time it starts to become very slow. Every single click of the mouse button takes forever. It hangs and becomes non-responsive. Hard disk LED is on for a long time.
Smooth preview? - Oh come on! Sometimes it refuses to show some scene and screen is just black, and I'm not talking about picture in picture which I cannot imagine how slow it will be.
