Want to make sure everyone is aware, if you put a chain on a drive train that is too warn out it will slip when you stand and petal hard. If the drive train doesn’t sound good or petal good when the new chain is installed you will have to run the old chain until you get new chain rings, cassette, chain, and derailleur pulley wheels

Or your chain ring is worn out meaning that your new chain will where out very quickly. Just take it to your local bike shop and they will be more than happy to check it for you most likely for free. ( I am a macanic at a bike shop.)

Found this out as a kid the hard way. Stood up to peddle hard and the chain popped off as I drove my foot down. Obliterated my ankle on my metal peddle, and smashed my balls on the frame. Got mad and threw my bike in the ditch. Went back for it the next day 😂
