Very nice, I've had to consider a lot of this when I went into making Boons/Curses for my Theros campaign. I spent a loooot of time thinking about how the gods were viewed, behaved, their goals, and what that meant for the populace. A good rule of thumb I used was the following.

*1). regardless of it being a benefit or a detriment, it should further the overarching goal or display what they represent.*
