The best wedding reviews I’ve ever sen.

Beach wedding video 2:
1. I will have to say the vocal vows was clear and crisp, excellent job, this was really good and above average. Hard to control wind noise.
2. The way the clips were exposed was like salt and pepper, the shots at the hotel with the guy on the bench looked really nice, but the shots on the beach with perfect soft light, not so. I don’t know if these were underexposed in the changing light. But i would of expected these to be better. Although the handheld footage worked for this location I feel it was over done and I saw to many jitters in some shots. I wouldn’t of opened with the clip you used with you running or moving fast, it had way to many jitters and you should lead with the best shots, i.e. the lens flare shot.

In conclusion I was torn, some good stuff and some not so good stuff. But I think the two points to improve are exposure and smoothness.

3. Video Alaska:
I feel there is a significant step up to this video from the other two. Really intimate and personal. Very good work, I only have some very small critiques. There was some talking then you see the husband talking but he is saying something different and I think you could loose some clips, I felt there was clips of the same scene that didn’t move the story forward. But a really solid film.

First video “Joshua tree” In my view I feel you guys were pretty generous.
1. I will start with sound, as this was I consider below amateur standard. Any person doing this regularly would have a sound account of some sort, this would have rain, wind, motorbike, etc. general sounds you could add as ambience. I didn’t even realise it was raining to you said in the review, a rain sound would of added this extra sense. I would give only a half a point for sound. Even if the couple said no sound you could add background sound to heighten the viewer experience, Music can be added by basic software or a amateur. This needs to be much better by the shooter.
2. The picture just looked so flat, I don’t know what camera it was shot on but the picture to me look bad, it also looked as if it was shot all on the same lens????
3. The indoors needed better lighting, even if you moved the couple to a window. The shooter needed more far/medium/closeup combination of shots, but how the shooter did it was just okay so a pass.

Overall I thought it was a very below average film and the shooter needs to do a lot of practice and maybe get some more gear to be a any where near a three.
Sorry guys for being hard, but I do believe the shooter needs some hard loVe.

Last Last video in Iceland:
Very slick and you have to be very picky to critique this video. But I will say it is to long for me, it felt at times just a wee bit to scenic, I know it is Iceland and beautiful but I was getting over it. I personally didn’t like the print of the people talking, it reminded me of Tik Tok and Reels, maybe that is just me.
On audio I found it difficult to hear the people talking, it sounded a little to bassie. Maybe that was a transfer through the Youtube. But overall I agree with their scoring, I would say it felt a little closer to 5 to me. This is a unique and well finished film.

Last video, fantastic work for a first wedding. The picture was pretty dam good.
I would get that camera on a monopod, it was just making my head spin and you also did a jump cut. The speeches were also a bit hard to hear and the first look was way to loud. Get a piggy back mic on the main mic or plug into the system for better sound. But even comparing to industry standard, fix that steadiness with the camera and you will have a banger!
