VRChat Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed FIX (See Description / Pinned comment)

EDIT: It should no longer be necessary to use this method as VRChat has fixed problems preventing it from being uninstalled properly. You should be able to simply uninstall the game in steam, accept admin prompt, reinstall, and accept admin prompt again. Doing that should do basically the same thing done in this video.

Previously uninstalling the game would not do this, hence why this video was made.

NOTE: This only works for the error "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed", do not expect it to work for fixing other errors.

I signed in to VR chat and now it won’t let me load into games do I need to use steam

The problem i had after i did that is, that EAC did not install on my pc and now my vrc is stuck on the loading screen

Still an issue. And this fixed it! I couldnt login for a long ass time. I tried every other solution. EasyAntiCheat itself didnt detect issues. VRchat didnt. Steam didnt. Not other threads helped. This one code, fixed it. THANK YOU

It didn't work for me; I did everything right and I double checked that I did the command correctly. I got the message as well, but when I tried to launch the game, it said the same thing "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed." and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong!
