An era that can never return. All we have to do is enjoy these songs, remembering the bygone days in 2025.

In December 1977, my then-girlfriend introduced me to the world of the songs of this immense singer without equal. She and I got married in October 1980, and since then we have been together, having the fortune of have seen Engelbert sing live in two occasions. What a personality of singer! My beloved wife and I still enjoy listening to these beautiful songs.

We are a dying generation who will die with the appreciation for music this beautiful. Done by people who did it from the heart. if you happen to see this random comment under this not so popular song from a time now long gone, I hope it makes you smile at the very least :)

Takes me back to the early 70s. I was 14 living with my grandparents, and my Nana played this album on her record player over and over....She Absolutely loved this song, and so do I....

I miss you sweetheart... 😢

My father used to play Engelbert's songs, so whenever I'm playing this, I feel like he was still alive. Miss you papa.

This song was always played at family gatherings/social events and the older folk and parents would 'take over' the dance floor and waltz expertly around, much to the amusement of us children. Now, at the age of 61yrs I understand why. Beautiful song, beautiful memories.

I remember my mother introduced me to his songs in the early 1970s ....I thought his name was so ridiculously funny but his voice and music smashed that all away ...the man is divinely blessed ...still listening to his songs in 2024
