Recording a 20% ROR at Berkshire’s size is incredible. Buffet always said he could pick up a coin off the street and it was a start to his next million. Such a legend 💪

I do hope young people are listening to you and taking it to heart. In forums I see so many young investors and those who are perhaps new to managing their own investments boasting about making horrible investment decisions that are all but certain to limit their opportunities later in life.

Investing isn't gambling. Many today plan on getting rich quickly, hoping to catch the next Tesla, without realizing that Tesla is horribly overpriced today. I regularly ask these investors how they determine the value of whatever latest fashionable stock and in several years of asking I never once got a reply that included math.

Under valued good businesses often happens when there’s some emerging risk to the company, sector or market. Understanding and accepting that new risk from a long term perspective, then stepping up to buy when others are fearful is not easy.

But lets be honest in the last decade (AKA our investing lifetime) Buffett has lagged the index and I highly doubt he was the one who finally made the call on Apple or Amazon or Snowflake. I think we can take some of the wisdom from Buffett but at the same time we have to understand our own set period in time.

11:16 Disney is 33% below it's pre-pandemic price and almost 50% below their pandemic peak, but at 54x earnings; it's only cheap if you really love Disney stock. It's probably hard to lose money at this price, but; it's hard to call it a value play either. Only saying this because he uses Disney as an example and their price is lower than historic average, but still expensive for a large company from a p/e standpoint; I'd like a video on how to choose a valuation metric for evaluating a given business.

Taking early notes from Warren as to the importance of sound asset diversification and risk management It can’t be overstated. I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $300K for sometime now, I would greatly appreciate any other suggestions.

I think we are all investors at heart. If we stay in the circle of competence, we tend to have a lot of knowledge about companies that we interact with daily. I think the important step is to realize our capabilities and take action in the stock market with the knowledge we have. Good luck to all of you guys with investing! :) Remember, we are all investors!
