Super Mario 64 Switch how to beat Big Penguin Race, Cool Mountain Course 4 Star 3 - 3D All Stars

World 4, Cool, Cool Mountain seems fairly easy to begin with, but the difficulty cranks up a notch when you need to work out how to beat the Big Penguin in the Race to the bottom of the slope. What had previously been a sedate skid down for a star is now a break-neck race to the finish with a very fast moving big old penguin. Skill will always be a big part in beating this one, but I’ve thrown in some tips to help you on the way. It won’t be easy, but if you keep trying you should be able to crack it.

I had no probs doing this as a kid, but now...I keep falling off the ledge on that right turn every time....I'm fed up now

I finally made it. My problem was I was always getting shoved by the penguin, or when I finally made near the end I would fall off the edge. Almost fell at the end again, but this time I jumped at the last second and went right over the drop off.

I did this on the first try and then went outside the shack because I didn't see a flag like in the Koopa race and then realized I had to do it over again. Took me at least ten tries to finally do it again

Ive had super mario 64 since i was a kid and you already know i had to get super mario all stars. But as a kid and as an adult i always DIED in this race, this video helped a ton. Beat him on the first try:))

I must've done this over 50 times. Mario kept yeeting off the side of the track. I recalibrated my control sticks and got it first try 🤦🏻‍♀️
