Always trust your nose (unless there is alot of shrimp paste or fish sauce)
The zombie fungus Cicada 100% has to be the reason you got food poisoning, as both of your noses said F that when you smelled it.
Your nose always knows.
Unless however one's nose gets confused by fish pastes or other safely fermented sea foods.
