I'm surprised. Bakole is a well spoken man and there's a genuine feel to his eyes. He knows what he's doing and it doesn't feel like he's merely riding a promotion. He's going to stay long in the sport.

If Amagov can incapacitate Jon Jones in his physical prime with a liver shot I’ve got no problem believing the physics of Martin putting down a much smaller man With a liver shot.

Doesn’t mean he won’t get pieced all the way in a real bout by Usyk. But I must say right now is the best time to fight Usyk with the silkiest sheets in history at 37 years old and counting. People seem to forget how young Bakole is. And how badly he beat up Yoka despite a preposterous scorecard. Yoka is much more slick on paper but Bakole has a way to drag ppl into the mind of fights ppl don’t want to be in. Sluggers he likes to make them move. Tacticians he likes to stand &trade. He’s very hittable but he’s young and enormous. His chin gets him out of trouble not to mention he can roll a punch very well. To beat him you’d have to be very large or very slick. Heavyweight has very little of the extremes. Bc remember in his only loss to Hunter, he was 250 odd pounds, 10% less than his weight vs anderson and he was 277 pounds vs Yoka. There’s some recency bias for sure and while he does have good hands, he doesn’t have great feet. Or hasn’t shown it since he’s chosen to fight north of 270 pounds. I’d love to see Bakole vs Andy Ruiz if I’m honest. I’m still very suspicious of Miller’s gas tank and size and just ridiculous output from miller vs Ruiz regardless Andy looked fantastic despite a very noticeable broken hand.
