I recently found your channel and it has saved my life with my Calculus II class! I appreciate all the time and explanations you put into your videos!

Easily the most helpful video I’ve found on Taylor and Maclauren series, wish I found this earlier!

I like how you explain the lesson and use color coding to help students follow along easy. You don’t rush through your explanation, so it’s super easy to follow and I was confused when my professor explained because I thought she said the difference between Taylor Series and Maclaurin series was n=0 or n=1, but I may have misunderstood, so have to go back and review her lecture, so I can make sure she didn’t misspeak. If she did, then I plan to contact her. Now that I know that for Taylor series the value of a is given, I think I can do some problems. I had a problem where a=0 was given and we had to use the Taylor series, but you mentioned it’s basically the same because with the Maclaurin series a=0 is still given or automatically known as a=0. Thank you!

There are no videos that I’ve seen that could explain the series problem better than yours. I’ve one last request. Can you go over this problem. I’m so confused about this particular problem. Find a Maclaurin series for 3t^2/1+t^3. Express your answer in summation notation. Use part (a) to find a Maclaurin series for ln(x^3 + 1). My exam is in 2 days. If you can explain how to do this then the whole taylor and maclurin series would become clear for me.

I think in the first question using geometric series is an easier way to solve it. Thank you for the video.
