Leaving a Girlfriend High and Dry

The plaintiff is suing her ex-boyfriend because she claims as they were breaking up, he up and moved out in the middle of their lease. The plaintiff was left with all the rent and fees as a result. The defendant argues that he told the plaintiff he was moving out and told her she could leave or stay in the apartment.

I don’t know their relationship, but the fact that he admits to just leaving the lease and ruin her credit, and she’s desperate enough to forge his signature and commit fraud in front of a judge, just shows how toxic their relationship was.

The judge was so much easier on her than others who commit perjury in front of her. She goes off and was still handling her with kid gloves. And if this was anybody else, her act of perjury would’ve lost her case completely.

The fact that the judge was okay with the plaintiff committing "perjury" by judges own admission is beyond insane... If the defendant had a good attorney I bet we would get a different ruling!
