I know this is fake but I legit know someone who experienced that.

He was almost a year in-training when he found out that his girlfriend got engaged to someone else. When he asked what's going on, she just answered to stop worrying about her and that she's doing well.

Dude, bless him, just accepted, but not before thinking that he'll quit the training to get back with her. What stopped him was not knowing if she will choose him.

Kinda sucks because I've known them from college and I've seen how their relationship started. 😅 I honestly thought they could balance each other out but my female friend's feelings weren't genuine.
