Common sense logic, but lost on the new government unfortunately

To employ someone on minimum wage with the employers national insurance and the minimum wage increase its increased the cost of employing a full time minimum wage worker 11.8%. I’m all for people getting paid fairly but if this wipes small businesses out there’s less jobs.

What labour need to realise is the country needs good capitalists as they are good for the economy.

I think it will set off many landlords to sell their properties and leave only the ones who can still continue with the property journey.

It's your choice to pass the cost onto your staff if you can afford not to

The government should totally overhaul the education system. Remove what is unnecessary so students leave compulsory school with a degree or a vocational apprenticeship instead of useless gcses and alevels. Why in the u.k do we have a school education system that prepares you for another education system that requires a student loan??

This way our taxes will fund employment rather than unemployment.

But the system is rigged to keep a rich poor divide. Keep those is in debt paying the rich in credit.

If 50% of the people who worked for you weren't actually working... - then sounds like you weren't a particularly good boss as far as your shareholders were concerned.

If the non-doms - who don't pay a lot of tax here - leave. Then suddenly there might be some properties getting sold - and the cost of housing is a far bigger issue in this country than the amount of VAT collected from people who (every time they leave the country), can simply take what they bought with them and claim the VAT back.

As for the rich leaving - more millionaires have been leaving than entering the UK since 2017. What happened in 2016? - Brexit vote.
