Blizzard would have charged me $30 to watch this video in order to pay $90 for skins.

Hi guys, I'd like to leave a suggestion here as to gameplay.

The idea is to have certain skills become potent, very impactful, while still keeping other skills as normal combo skills, and normal attacks still remain useful.

1. Cooldowns on skills -- tweaked so that players couldn't spam just one strong skill. This also encourages combos. Ex. A skill that staggers enemies in an area, combo'd with a skill that has been "charged with potential" to cause devastating AOE damage. Spammable skills still exist, but when a player keeps using it, it will not charge "potential".

2. Charged Skills -- this can be automatic, or some other mechanic to force a skill to be "charged up". Basically, overtime, an unused skill will charge potential, increasing damage overtime. Example, the huntress exploding spear, when unused for thirty seconds, will have, say 6 potential, and when used, the damage of that skill will be 6x its normal damage.. Charged skills will use large amounts of mana though. This will make mana significant again.

When a player keeps using a skill, it won't charge potential. So a player can device a playstyle that allows him to charge up a skill and unleash it when he wants or needs it.

One impact of this mechanic will solve issues players are encountering where it is longer to kill enemies, and groups of enemies will force the player to kite and just whittle the enemies down one by one.

This this mechanic, a player can choose to ready himself, during and prior to battle to unleash huge damage in a burst.

3. Normal attacks -- to normal attacks, give players certain incentives. For example, a rage meter of sorts, or power meter that increases as the player use normal attacks, or certain skills, which empowers skills. I know charges exist, but this one is based on the player using normal attacks.

That's it for now guys. Thank you for making this game.

So yeah, the new league didn’t exactly drop clean or fully polished but I was still hyped and ready to dive in hard. I had been practicing since Patch 0.1 and grinding some runs over the last two days, feeling pretty confident I’d hit endgame fast.

But then I realized... they nerfed the hell out of some builds, even entire classes or skills. Still, I stuck with it played with the cards I was dealt. What really stood out was how the difficulty ramped up. Mobs feel tankier as hell now, and the pace of the game shifted a lot because of that.

I’m not totally against these changes I get the idea: maybe they want us to explore other skills, experiment with combos that didn’t get touched. Cool. I’m all for variety. But here’s the thing...

The Act 1 boss? Way tougher now. I like a challenge, I enjoy Souls-like vibes, but where PoE2 is kinda missing for me is in that feeling of being rewarded for beating hard content. Like, I don’t feel my character growing stronger in a satisfying way, beyond just "git gud" at mechanics.

Loot’s a big part of that. And man, the loot feels wildly inconsistent. Like 70% of the time, it's not even for my class or remotely useful for my build. Especially on bosses. The fight can be sweaty as hell, and the reward? Straight trash.

And yeah... I ended up quitting after Act 1. Frustrated, zero dopamine left in the tank lmao 😂😂😂😂

I’ll be real I’m not a PoE1 veteran, just someone with nearly 200 hours in PoE2, trying to give an honest perspective. Maybe I still lack knowledge or skill, maybe I’m just salty, but I stand by this opinion. I'd love to hear how others feel too.
