"What if we'd only selected Boeing? We would still be on the ground." Yeah, but the same can't be said if you had only selected SpaceX. I'm all for redundancy, and I want to have two successful Commercial Crew systems, but at this point Boeing is a joke.

When they do launch, Max Q readings will include flying through SpaceX's dust... ;-P

Time for NASA to stop funding this group of amatures and let SpaceX manage it all. What a waste of money.

Can you imagine if NASA only chose SpaceX and they took exactly as long as they did to get astronauts into space? Boeing would have been howling at the moon that SpaceX took years longer than they should have and that they (Boeing) would have gotten the job done on time, (because of their experience and talent) and that giving the contract to an unproven and inexperienced startup was a big mistake!

It's not working? No surprise, it's Boeing!

Another embarrassment for Boeing. And just think, Starship' test flight by a more capable craft will be before years end.

Funny how Space X always nails it’s goals. Elon fosters an excellent work environment and rewards his employees for innovation and safety first. The results speak for themselves

I would love to take a ride on Dragon but there is no amount of money that would ever convince me to ride on Starliner. No way.

I don't like bill nelson even though he has been in space.

Boeing - take a look at Spacex, then look the American public in the eyes and say - yes, we are good value, a worthy competitor to SpaceX and worthy of the millions of dollars of taxpayers dollars? They would as well- with a totally sincere straight face.

I really cant understand why the Reuters channel closed the comments section on this CST-100 issue. I'd say its about arrogance. even here and at Boeing people may comment

Boeing has a long history of negligence! Until they make major changes at the top of their organization and their culture, they will continue to lag behind everyone else.
