Watched the HD and it was astounding! She got the hugest ovation of the performance and her curtain call shook the rafters, moving her to tears. Well-deserved bravi, diva!!! And I loved the production.

Fantastic! It is already an extraordinary achievement to sing this aria in a standing position, which is favorable for singing; however, to sing this aria practically sitting down is unbelievable! Simply madness in the positive sense!🤩

I saw this production, the voice talents were through the roof amazing the over all design concept was literal garbage it was absolutely hideous there wasn’t a single visual in this show that was a good decision, it read from beginning to end as a pompous, self indulgent, dystopian nightmare. And it also looked super cheep just in general I don’t care wut ur “look” is if it looks like the performers brought the clothes in from their own closet it was NOT designed! Honestly the Met owes me money!

I have never felt more the pain of the mother who has no choice but to threaten her daughter's destruction for the sake of her kingdom.

It's a tale... Sometimes ennobled to the rank of philosophy. But even Philosophy has humans for basis, so it couldn't fulfill of hopes of many anyway. Who knows, that's why maybe. BREATHTAKING singing & acting❗💎👏

In The NY Times review, the critic went on and on about how this production peeled off layers of cuteness from the opera. But, other than Lewek, he qualified each singer for some vocal shortcoming. So, in other words, the “witty” production is more important than the singing. Ok, I guess that’s where we are these days. Give me park & bark any time, I want to hear great voices.

I saw it on the hd cinema series and she was the only thing I liked. I felt the production looked cheap and amateurish.

This would have more impact if Pamin were in the wheelchair. Think about it.

Ya la flauta no es màgica, con ésta puesta en escena barata y de mal gusto, no digna del Met, mucha creatividad sí pero de muy mal gusto propio de este universo decadente
