I'd agree with a nerf to the boots only if it affects pvp only, which they can do. It's the only way bullseye can deal with annoying enemies that don't have easy to access weakspots, or enemies that just don't have weakspots whatsoever, so nerfing it for pve as well would just be stupid. I think the game has a bigger issue though with more than half of the guns being absolutely garbage for both modes

Since last patch the R500 Hammerhead Shark created a new Z tier as in order to fix the fact it was killing its owners when shooting target dummies, instead of fixing the fact the user was getting the powersurge debuff and becoming a victim of their own aoe, the devs appear to have simply stopped the aoe effect working anywhere. If I shoot a target dummy I still get the debuff, as do other targets, but none of them take aoe damage upon weakspot hit.

This ranking is unrealistic. If the purple SCAR is rated A, then Last Valor should also be in the A group, even in PvP. You once said, "I'd rather use a blue AK than Last Valor." This statement clearly stems from a contrarian attitude, where you want to feel different from the mainstream. You placed Last Valor in the B group simply because you dislike it.

The Power Surge shotgun is undoubtedly strong in PvP, but I should also point out that its pellets don't travel like rifle bullets. Even if Power Surge had no damage falloff over distance, the pellets would still disappear when shot from afar, resulting in zero damage.

What this chart reveals is that your PvP tier list is mostly built on your imagination. The concept of "strong equipment" in the game refers not to weapons, but to armor and the modules you attach to it. The focus on weapons is fundamentally wrong.

i'd say the MG4 is S tier for PvE just like the Scar due to its ease of use plus FG stacks gives you attack +1% and iirc the max stacks you can get is 20 with the key mask and the blitzkrieg mod, use 3 piece bastille for extra 50% weapon damage, slap shellfish food and the wolf deviant and you pretty much turn into a turret, strong but boring, just like the Scar

Memento and mg4 melts bosses in pve . Fast gunner is fun to use out dpsing most people in silos with it now im testing the memento and mg4 weakspot set. Was using the bastille for the fast gunner . Crouch and blast away

The MG4 is an S teir in PVE. It melts every boss and I clear every silo solo any difficulty in seconds, for example, I use half of the mag only on Silo Psi (The fridge). Crit rate 46%, crit DMG 132% and it's not yet fully optimized.

The bouncer sniper is actually EVIL EVIL weapon when pitted against car drivers... Also, I am a degenerate who uses boom boom in PvP. Took me one season of grinding and now it starts to be useful. However, I went for crit build instead and so I can use the power surge SCR or any other crit weapon as backup.
But when planets align and RNG decides that 18% trigger chance will trigger a lot, seeing other metas getting visibly panicked as they burn is something else. Not everyone panick, but surprisingly a lot do.

You can’t expect a PvP game to run the same so nerfing guns and stuff to everything messes with pve when us pve players didn’t need the nerf

My frost vortex build with the KAM-abyss glance for PVE is S-A tier. It legit procs 20k damage. rapid fire calibration makes those 10 shots quick.

you forget the blue shotgun with 35% bullseye chance and dmg +20% when hitting targets affected by bulls eye

IMO ACS12 should at least be A tier. Damage isn't reliant on doing Weakspot damage and is versatile enough to do most of, if not, all content.

I would like to change your mind about the boom boom, I've invested a lot in it and it is literally amazing in PvE when combined with pyro dino, burn stacks legit can go up as high as 19k/tick and it ticks a lot. Also add clear is insane on this weapon, did solo Lea without any issues with this weapon.

I made a corrosion build after the doombringer nerf and in terms of pve i feel like it compares decently to the doombringer, doing lea lab feels better than my bingo/deagle build, plus i don't have to worry about weakspot dmg which feels like a game changer

im going to make bounce build meta. just watch.

ive made a jaws build, a wildfire build, a doombringer build, compound bow build and a corrosion build already (and icy rain and boom boom build on an alt). have hit 100k+ dps on dummy with some of them, but bounce will still be king. I will find the way

If savior set wasn't in the game along with some food health buffs a lot more would be decent in pvp
