In this New World Greatsword Build 2024 Guide, we’ll focus on the Greatsword in both PvE and PvP, an excellent melee weapon. It scales equally with both Strength and Dexterity, so you can choose either and decide which passive attributes you prefer. Since the best bonuses for both come later in their respective stat lines, I recommend focusing on one—either Strength or Dexterity—early in the game. You can add points to the other stat later when you have more to invest.

hmm the ultimate skill in onslaught it pretty good cause using greatsword it will need us always using charged heavy attack to gain grit or block incoming attack and the dps of it is more than using light attack

Hey great video. I’ve unlocked Skyward slash and the second ability to hit twice. Every time I use it I only seem to hit one, what am I doing wrong. I’m on ps5

You have to put points into strength and dexterity at the same time.

It scales better when both are used, NOT either. You are losing dps if you don't keep them nearly equal.

you forgot blade honing :/ and also almost every greatsword build it will have unflingching blade cause it give you grit, very few weapon have grit on melee attack, why i see your build only work for xbox and i see you dont use the charged heavy attack much while it giving more dps than light attack on PVE, does xbox is hard to use charged heavy attack that much
