How do you see that adaptor as a con??? I see it as adding new capabilities to old Iphones with outdated ports, thereby prolonging its useable life span.

Your complaints about the phone compatibility are squarely the fault of those phonemakers. Samsung's phones with Dex go the opposite direction, where the phone outputs a desktop-like display if you plug something like this in.

I have questions about "RayNeo Mirror Studio" for microsoft Windows PCs:
1. Is this software compatible with RayNeo air2 glasses?
2. How many screens/windows can I open in parallel with this software?
3. Are the screen stable in space (3DOF) when I move my head with glasses?
4. Can I move the screens/windows farther/closer to me using the Ray Neo Mirror Studio?
5. Can I increase/decrease the size of each windows that is displayed in space?
6. Do I need a special strong graphic card in my windows PC/laptop?

you start with a weird caveat for what you consider AR. why do the glasses need to have the computing power? you carry a computer with you everywhere already (your phone)

I have one of the competing brands and I also think they need to drop the AR/XR moniker because they are really just TV glasses. That said I love them and use them all the time. They are perfect for watching Shows next to your spouse while they are trying to sleep, on airplanes, etc.

The pixel devices just like the nexus devices never supported video output. The reason why the nexus devices never supported video out put was because google wanted customers to purchase a chrome cast device. Apparently, that's the reason why most of the customers were upset including myself that wanted video output from the nexus devices. A bunch of android phones that used micro usb supported video out from the micro usb port with a micro usb to mhl adapter. I used to use a micro usb to mhl adapter that also has a micro usb port and hdmi port to charge my phone from the micro usb port to an outlet and mirror my phones display both at the same time when I used to have the htc one m7 and the samsung galaxy note 4 when both micro usb and hdmi were both being connected. Using the micro usb to mhl adapter was more useful than using a chrome cast device because the mhl adapter would charge my phone and mirror my phones display and I can use my phone offline where as a chrome cast requires an internet connection to work. I had issues where my wifi was down and not working properly multiple times and using a chrome cast device was useless since it won't work offline when I tried. It's the same reason why nexus and pixel devices never had a micro sd card slot on there devices because they wanted customers to buy google cloud storage much like having to buy a chrome cast device to mirror the phones display because google wants there customers to buy something from them whether someone wanted to mirror there phones display or have more storage. Both the chrome cast device and cloud storage needs an internet connection. I used both a chrome cast device and google cloud storage but they are too slow and would not always when the internet was not working properly or when the internet was down. I always used a wired connection for video output because there is no latency and works offline and the same thing applies to having a micro sd card because it also works offline I can transfer data from the device itself to the micro sd card when there is no internet connection or when I'm locations where there is spotty connections. I only used the chrome cast as a secondary option and I use google cloud storage as a secondary option since using cloud storage is too slow and I had issues when using cloud storage fail and I would have to start all over again multiple times especially when I'm trying to transfer large video files such as movies and it would take hours and sometimes the files were too large and there is a limit on how much data I could transfer since I always used the free and unlimited data cloud from google before googled removed unlimited cloud storage on there newer devices. Where as with the micro sd card, I could transfer as much as data as I needed with no transfer limits since I was only limited by the capacity of the micro sd card. Google and all the corporations and all the manufacturers solutions were about creating a problem and selling a solution much like how it is now but it has gotten worse over the years. Every year all the corporations and manufacturers made things more convulted since they have there own way of doing things especially if you don't use a particular brand from there particular device since all the manufacturers want to lock there customers to there own ecosystem. All the manufacturers used to be able to work with each other no matter what the features and functionality was offered before they started going the route of locking the there customers to there own brand and ecosystem. It's why I have always used android and now android is starting to become less open since all the manufacturers are just trying to one up each other and locking there customers to there own proprietary products. It used to be when you buy from one brand, you can use the same features and functionality because they all work in the same way and things used to be universal among all the manufacturers. Nowadays it's about making things convenience and turning things universal into something proprietary. I buy products from multiple brands and they used to be able to work with each other. I never liked being locked down to the brands ecosystem because you have less options and now it's become more difficult because they care more about profits than providing what the customers wanted. When one manufacturer decides to remove features and functionality, I would switch to a different manufacturer like I would switch to a different variety of food. Now, it's becoming more difficult because they are all doing the same thing and all the manufacturers did things that were unique in the past but worked with different brands. The options are now limited and have more restrictions. It used to be about the customers, when the customers would give negative feedback, all the manufacturers would listen to there customers and provide what the customers wanted and that is no longer the case anymore. At now, when all the brands get negative feedback, they would still continuing to do something at the expense of there customers and than sweep it under the rug once it becomes common and now it has become a normal thing. It went from being happy about what you paid for and owning something to own nothing and be happy about it since all the corporations and brands have gotten greedier every year. The greedier all the corporations and brands have become, the more cynical I have become.

I enjoy mine as well. I did need to use the prescription inserts. It does what it is advertised to do. Definitely a Gamers dream accessory

Thanks Gamesky. I think it is fair to call them AR glasses all by themselves but offer some of the other brands offer an optional companion device which gives the glasses extra capabilities. I have the Rokid Air Pro but did not buy the companion device because, for me, the glasses are mostly to be used mirroring iPad and iPhone. I just plug them into USB C and they mirror right away.

The limitations of the apps? Doesn't that affect all similar devices? If so, then it shouldn't take away anything from this particular product.
