I love how when he was unwrapping himself, we were expecting something scary, like The Mummy, but the twist is he was a normal guy wrapped in gauze.

The cool thing is Rami Malek is actually Egyptian and can trace his family all the way back to the original Coptic people.

The twist was that the Pharaoh is a cinnamon bun...

I completely forgot that Rami was in this movie, I haven't seen it such a long time. The crazy thing about I watch Bohemian Rhapsody almost every other week or so and Rami played Freddie Mercury and I STILL FORGOT that he was in this movie until I saw the movie again the other day, Rami came such a long way from Gilmore girls to Night at the museum to Mr. Robot to Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami is definitely one of the greatest actors of this time

Being stuck in a tomb for 54 years of dust would be a nightmare of allergies!!!🤧

It was honestly very scary at first when I was a child.

Pharaoh Ahkmenrah was apparently Rami Malek's first film role.
Wasn't even a minor role either.

Look how far this guy became 😁

Also his face reveal is a bit like the Genie in Aladdin (coincidentally, voiced by Robin Williams), he comes out all mighty, powerful, and scary, but is actually stretching his bones cause he's been asleep for too long, and he's actually a pretty good guy.

Before Rami Malek played Freddie Mercury.

I have a headcanon that Ahkmanrah is claustrophobic... I mean who wouldn't be?! Being trapped in a tomb for ages and no one letting you out the entire time would be terrifying!

Not to mention the lack of oxygen! It's ok for Teddy and the others! But Ahk is literally a mummified human! He's literally flesh and blood!

Fun fact: The writers of “Night at the Museum” took inspiration for this “Ahkmenrah” from the actual Egyptian Deity “Amen-Ra.”

He was such a greedy god that he actually demanded his people say his name whenever they felt thankful for something. For example, “I’m thankful for this family, Amen-Ra.”

This tradition is mysteriously still used today in the Christian religion, ending every prayer with, “Amen.”

Many believe that the Amen-Ra from Egyptian mythology is the same entity as the false god Marduk from the Bible.

History is wild!

Hard to believe this guy would go on to win an Oscar.

We need to take care of the cinnamon bun.

Man, “from humble beginnings”, indeed. Watching this the first time as a kid, I never would’ve expected Akmenrah’s actor to become such a huge star. Well deserved, though! Rami Malek has so much talent, we just didn’t know it yet.

Damn I’ve only seen Rami in a USMC mortar team in WW2 😂

the most recent dream I had I was trying to discover something but I couldn't cuz there were these 2 giant jackals guarding a tomb whenever I tried to get close they threatened to end my life not only that but also in my dream the tomb it either had a sarcophagus or a secret passage I'll never know what was in it cuz in my dream I couldn't get any further than the 2 giant jackals
