Dragon is going to make his power debut in 1100. The first appearence of Dragon in one piece was in the chapter 100. So it does make total sense for Oda to keep him for chapter 1100, perhaps saving Luffy from Saturn or something like that?

Personally I feel he will combine the concept of Haki infusion from his Gear 4th and apply it to Gear 5 with ACoC. Makes sense when you consider how the top tiers have different elements of ACoC and being tailored
