On May 5, 2021, a very creepy video of what appears to be an injured woman in great distress appeared online. She quickly came to be known online as “the Seattle Zombie Woman”. She’s screaming, bleeding, and missing most of her hair. She’s also deathly pale and seems to be holding something in her arms. Some people thought it might be a baby.
Theories were all over the place. Did she escape a serial killer or an explosion of some kind? Was she having a psychotic breakdown? Or maybe this was a viral marketing promotion for a zombie movie.
It gets even stranger because real police and paramedics show up to assist the woman. She’s eventually taken away by the ambulance and after that… nothing. No news, no updates, no more sightings of the Seattle Zombie Woman. Some suspected there was a coverup going on. However, almost a year later, a post was discovered which showed a woman with matching makeup, matching hair, and matching outfit to the woman in the video. Apparently, the whole thing was meant to be some sort of political protest. A little anticlimactic, but at least we know there aren’t zombies walking around.
