Why Oliver Betrays Omni Man in INVINCIBLE Season 3 Explained... #Shorts #Invincible #Comics Invincible, Omni Man, Invincible Anissa Explained, Evil Mark Invincible, Invincible Multiverse, Invincible Anissa, When Allen COMPLETELY Betrays Omni Man in Invincible, Oliver shows up to save his father who has been losing the fight so far, but Allen tries to tell him to calm down, because he can explain what’s happening here. Oliver explains that he’s been watching long enough and realized that Allen was really trying to end his father, so as he attacks, Allen continues to try and dodge while he reasons with the boy but nothing is working, and infact while he’s distracted and holding back like this, Oliver starts to get some hits in and actually stuns Allen with a kick down low, but just as he thinks he’s getting the advantage here, suddenly, an entire battalion of Allen’s Space Force warriors arrive, with their blasters drawn on our viltrumites. Again, Allen tries to explain himself to Omni Man and Oliver, telling them that he plans on releasing the Scourge Virus on earth to wipe out all of Thragg’s viltrumites who landed there and basically have the planet hostage, but Nolan stays firm saying NO, because it could wipe out all of the humans as well due to their genetic similarities. It’s here where SHOCKINGLY, Oliver actually agrees with Allen, saying this is the right thing to do, saying there’s not really many people on earth that he cares about, since Omni Man and Debbie live on Talescria, and he’s sure that Allen would warn Mark and allow him to take Eve and a few other people off of the planet… so what’s the big deal? Nolan can’t believe what he’s hearing, as he explains how earth changed HIM and he believes the other viltrumites will be changed as well, but as no one is willing to change their position, this fight is about to resume.

Season 2 of Invincible promises an intriguing plot, with hints from the original comics by Robert Kirkman. Expect the Sequids' scheme to conquer Earth, Titan's crime organization expansion, and Allen's cosmic adventures. Meanwhile, Mark faces challenges with Cecil's methods and the return of Omni-Man to space, potentially reuniting with the Viltrumites. The introduction of Angstrom Levy, a multidimensional villain, seems central to the plot, as indicated by the Season 2 trailer's revelations. This season will delve into multiverse dynamics, introducing Evil Mark and a team of new, yet imperfect, superheroes. With Angstrom Levy as the arch-nemesis, expect an epic clash of powers and dimensions.

Oliver is so similar to (old) omni-man that even nolan himself is surprised. He didn't(or maybe haven't) learn to love humans like mark or recently nolan, but he learned that "these few ones are good" oliver only cares about the humans he or his family cares about.

Oliver was so out of touch with humanity that it took Mark almost dying for him to grasp how a death of a loved one would actually make others feel. He just felt how horrible he's been and shit hit him like a truck

Lil bro really look back, get this, in his 100% perfect memory, to those kid that's his friends when he was young, happily playing together and said "Yeah fuck 'em"

Honestly, it just seems like Oliver is literally just there to be a hindrance to everyone.
He has none of the development that the rest of the cast has and is insistent that he's right because clearly no one has ever been through what he's been through, so therefore his instincts must be right even though he is surrounded by people who can kill him at any given moment who keep telling him "We've seen this before, you need to calm down so we can tell you" and he just refuses to listen.
Yes most of it is because he has a very animal like sentimentality and because he is basically a child who grew up way too fast but seriously he's just there to get in the way and anybody could have just slapped him away at any given moment but they were too nice

Omni Man's redemption arc is so much inspiring, like, for real! A down bad psychopath changing into something far greater is a true testament that even the most broken of people can change.

And that is what I love about comics/anime that the movie/series world does not have. A powerful message.

Cannot wait for 2025 to roll in with a banger of Season 3!

Really looking forward to seeing the show adapt this virus story line.

I swear, with the amount of double crossing and betraying that happens in this story, it's a wonder anything gets done at all.

I will forever hate the “I have nobody I care about in this area so its fine to harm them” mindset especially in real life, it is so intensely selfish that I recoil

I can’t wait to see Nolan return to Earth for the first time since he tried taking over the planet. He’ll be in his new Coalition of Planets uniform with no his bare feet all out!

Oliver maybe grew with humans but he was a bug alien originally. And never really connected with humans

It’s easy to hate Oliver and Allen here but remember, Viltrumites are the biggest threat in the universe and if the cost of removing that threat and saving countless other planets means just sacrificing 1 planet then it isn’t really much of a decision. I mean, when Omniman wiped out an entire alien civilization in S1, nobody even batted an eye. Allen and Oliver probably see the Earth the same way here

No matter how much Debbie tried, she could never get through to Oliver. And now, Nolan has to face a mirror of his former self and NOT kill them 😂

Shame after all the preaching debbie did, it took him almost killing mark to realize the gravity of what he was prepared to do and what she meant lol.
