If the client starts talking about Fiverr they are not worth your time, they are the kind of client that are never really satisfied and always finds a million 'small changes'

'Been there just last week and I said, "No, problem – hope it goes well but if there's anything else feel free to reach out again." Then they did, saying the more affordable option wasn't to their quality liking.

Good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good.

i am in the mowing business and it’s nothing but challenges like this “well we founder someone that can do it 20$ cheaper” i just laugh because you pay for what you get but my worth and skill and hours in knowledge is 20$ more your choice then weeks later call back and want me because the other company stopped showing up 😂 then i double what it was before

It's not just about being able to walk away from a deal, but to do it gracefully by still giving them the option to reach out to you, or even better you refer them to someone else. This will eventually make you feel more confident in your work, and the right clients will find you. The abundance mindset and helping others may even end up with a referral back to you. I'm not a designer or creative, but these videos have been valuable to me.

Typical clients on Fiverr, ask something for cheap price, when they get the fair result based on their price, they get angry. So, basically they just want to pay $80 and expect to get $8000 result😃

I'm glad this channel exists, clients can pull such mind games, but you guys have show such wonderful ways on dealing with them.

A year ago, I'd fall for the "I know someone cheaper" line.

In all honesty, the statement is tempting especially when you are just starting up and you need some business. Being able to turn down these type of clients has given me room to work on projects and clients that I like and enforce on the target market I've set.

Several of these type of clients have come back, mostly because they are not impressed with the work they received, or the person they opted to go for(the cheaper guy) didn't turn out to be someone they would want to work with.

In short, knowing when to say no, boosts productivity, you just need to put yourself in their shoes and be polite when you turn them down. They will come back or refer someone to you in the future.

If they don't take it well, still, close the conversation politely & Burn no bridges.

Know your worth! Work with people who appreciate what you do, and say No to those who always search for a cheaper option. 😉💯

These shorts are alright. One problem tho: they _need_ to have a ~5 second breather at the end. If the video is played in a playlist or a "queue, " there is no pause at all between the end of this video and the beginning of the next video. It's a jarring transition. A small silence would help give the viewer a few seconds to process what they heard before moving onto the next video automatically.

Nothing makes it easier to reject a client than when they start talking about how expensive I am and how they can always go to Fiverr or how the neighbor's kid can do it for much less, once they go there I just say "Great!, good luck!" and hang up. I don't even try to get their business, they always, ALWAYS end up being a waste of time and the biggest headache.

This happened to me last week. I spoke to a possible client they wanted me to manage 3 social media accounts and run Ads for them. Provide content 5 times a week video footage. I gave them my price which I said 2k a month total. She comes at me with “oh the owner said that the other day another guy came in offering the same thing for $200”. I said the same thing this guy in your video said not to be a dick but simply because it’s not the first time someone comes at me like that. I told them if it didn’t work out with that other guy to give me a call.

There are some cons that are universal. They’re in a different field but I run into the same problems with customers in the automotive industry. Crazy relatable. I like this channel

But I have to pay 1K for a 10 minute vid that has the editing style of gaming and anime channels? That seems way too much

These misers can do it themselves. If they can't do it then why would they lie about anyone else doing it for 80 bucks lol
