How Much Do Computer Engineers Get Paid? | Salary BREAKDOWN | Pay Ranges

Here we talk about one of the most IMPORTANT parts of computer engineering -- SALARY, INCOME, PAY. In reality, one main motivator for most engineers is the high income for entry-level jobs (the other would be personal challenge one undergoes to get the degree but that can be for another video.). What's the point in putting oneself through all the pain, sleepless nights, crying sessions, breakdown sessions, anxiety & panic attacks, stress eating and rigorous work for 4 solid years without some sort of payoff?? I, personally, would like to have known that I would find a job will an income at the very least, above the average salary in the U.S....

Well, this video does just that. It will, hopefully, shed some light on how much a CE can expect to get paid as a new college graduate. It may even help motivate and persuade you to change to/get a CE degree if you're still in college and debating what degree you should get ;).

Hope this video was useful/helpful! If it was please let me know in the comments below!

If you are going for a Computer Engineering undergraduate, and you land yourself into a tech company as a software engineer, a company on the tier of Stripe, Dropbox, Amazon, and so on, you will make 6 figures in compensation right out of graduation. This is the case for all of my peers at the University of Washington who study Computer Engineering. They decide to not enter hardware because software is far more lucrative for undergraduates.

Questions for Engineers: Did you guys apply for jobs directly after college? Just got my Computer Engineering Degree and I don’t feel ready. I’m focused on brushing up on my C++ and electronics skills.

Or should I just start applying?

I'm currently a junior CE at my university and I'm worried it might be hard to find a job in my state because of the employment rate in the USA for CE majors. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are about 67, 880 jobs for CE in the USA. Any help with what to do so I can get a job easier once I graduate?

Personally, I like tech major like Computer Engineering. However, all these high income and demand will fade as you age in this tech field.

But, if you look at doctor's ... The older they are in the field the more value will they be.

( 15-20yrs from now ... will you get paid as young similar salary? Or your valued in the market fade?)
