Hillbilly Elegy detailed his partial upbringing in KY, not OH. As someone who grew up about 30 min from where his grandmother lived, I and many others can really relate to his story. A lot of people I know hated the book because it shed a little too much light on certain issues they’d rather paint over and ignore. But it’s 100% realistic. I think he’ll be just as courageous with this new role and I look forward to watching his career develop.
