Restoration in a nutshell
6 months of restoration work condensed into a 2 minute video. It almost makes the whole thing seem easy, but there were lots of clips that didn't make the cut.

This 1958 MGA was pulled from its barn in West Texas, where it sat since 1981. The video chronicles the restoration process through the random photos I captured along the way. Rust, layers of old paint, broken bolts and lot of fitment and filler work to make this one pretty again. Finished in British racing green.

Bye the way, the riff is "Send The Pain Below" by Chevelle

How ironic that a car guy would like Chevelle as a band!

Beautiful! My first car was a black 1962 MGA with the wire wheels and k/o hubs. I loved it!

Absolutely stunning resto. I like the stubby windscreen, but you must get a lot of bugs in your teeth 😂

I would have liked to have seen this with a little more time on each photo. But thanks for sharing.

Well done.
An intelligent, professional, fun (screw the purists) refurb. Love the Brooklands Green paint (not one of the 4 so-called, British Racing Greens)
Owner of over 100 cars and trucks, to include 40 Brit cars since 1964, including a 1956 MGA in which I stabbed a 5 main 1800 MGB engine way back in 1970. I worked at an Official BMC, Jag, Aston, Austin, Rolls, Bentley, MG, Lotus, Morris etc dealership 68-72. And, another 21 years in the car biz.

I currently have a 1963 MGB which will soon be other than a Concourse Cween.

Liked and subscribed. Class act !!!!

Excellent job. I wonder why they would build a car where the windshield doesn't protect your face? Where the top?
