Most or basically all people will care about a dog, cow, rabbit etc. also people think they look cute

There’s no emotional attachment to lobster and never heard anyone say they are cute. Put them on the plate

Pain is necessary for survival. How else would an animal know it is being harmed and to escape or change environment. Any thing that did not feel pain would likely not survive a species. But we also have to accept that pain can be experienced differently

It isn't for anyone in this comment section to agree or disagree. And there is no reason to suspect that they would not feel pain. I've never understood how someone could take a live animal and shove it into boiling water to cook it and assume that it wouldn't feel anything. That's typical of man's cruelty and lack of concern for anything he feels to be below him, INCLUDING other people, but especially all animals as if he has the RIGHT to inflict pain so long as it meets his own needs and desires and then he attempts to justify his actions.
