I always thought the man should also ask questions to understand his woman, because most guys assumes a lot and they are most of the time wrong in their thinking .

I tried that for 33 years and it got me nowhere but frustrated And ultimately divorced. I highly respect Dr. Monroe, but what he doesn’t know is that not all men have the capacity to grow and change let alone have long-term and a vision for their family. And when they don’t have answers to the questions and the wives must take that role and then what do they called controlling and not submissive. that is simply not true. They only did what they had to for survival and for the love of their family.

Ask the man questions, before the marriage. If you find resistance and you still go ahead, that's on you. Don't blame "all men" or say Doc Miles is out of touch with reality.

Rather stay single than marry an egocentric man that won't allow a woman help him.

I so needed to hear this as a man who’s so lonely and plans to get married to a kingdom wide one day. There are so many factors why I feel I have not even met a girlfriend to build into those terms. ALOT IF NOT MOST men find asking questions to be "irritating" and they usually resist when a woman is helping them to become that ideal man!

MOST men do not cooperate in this wise! But i agree with was said. I am a woman who sincerely make efforts to understand the person I'm with. Some men make it really difficult though because they don't see the value in what you're trying to achieve. But I've been waiting on the Lord for some time now for a suitable mate and i trust when that person comes he'll value the things outlined that a good woman is supposed to do.

You’ve better ask these questions when you’re considering marrying because after you get married, if the man doesn’t have a vision or interest in a vision, you gonna have problems. Find his vision before you get married.
