No disrespect at all, but I’d like to offer some more accurate information. The rose gold AP you’re referring to is actually an older-generation model that is no longer in production (Ref. 15400OR.OO.1220OR.01.A). The current generation of this model is slightly more refined with an updated movement (Calibre 4302) and is now selling for over $65k.

As for the second AP, it’s a white gold perpetual calendar (not a chronograph)(Ref. 26607BC.OO.1220BC.02), an exclusive limited edition of just 20 pieces. Therefore, it’s not the most appropriate comparison to the Patek 5980.

No jeweler does what he does. All his products are legit. Reason being, is when i see these other jewelers they acts all Sus and always try to rip you off or just act very secretive with their products and won’t give you much info on what they are selling you. On the other hand trax is honestly the way to go 🏆

Idk what it is but the AP watch geometry catch my eye more than the patek. Both are solid great watches though. Would love to own an AP some day and to pass it on but if that day never comes its all good.

That 5980 is one of the last remaining true flyback chronographs. I would take it over the “exclusive” AP any day (not even taking into account how much of a PITA it is to set a perpetual calendar.
