I would not buy anything from them, if the Sims 4 is broken and they don't care... They will not change .. crappy customer service, disrespectful company towards us their customers... This is just not compatible with me and what I think a good game and company should be.

I‘m very conflicted on Project Rene. My dream would be current sim aesthetic but more customization and the in depth gameplay we got in sims 2 ❤ lately I‘ve been missing sims 2 so much even sims 3. If it’s just going to be a very customizable build and buy with the shallow gameplay we have now I‘d be disappointed 🙈 I will still try it I love the Sims no matter what ❤

I don’t understand multiplayer on a life simulation it’s honestly dumb…I’m not touching anything until they completely clean house and go back to actually putting care in the game instead of showing how diverse and inclusive they are but don’t even care if there game works.

All this build mode stuff is just noise to me.
All I care about is the game play. I want sims with distinct personalities that you can tell by just watching them. I want cause and effect situations; Sims that remember and respond realistically to social situations. If they are just as socially unaware as TS4 sims then the whole thing is just a waste of money and time. Right now I am concerned that the PC game will be held back by mobile. And also if EA's focus is for simmers to be entertainment for each other by being social rather than the game being entertaining for the individual simmer.

I also feel like they are once again going to do the bare minimum with this one as well... Don't get me wrong phones have come along way over the years... but the Sims is a taxing game as it is... To have this level of customization, on top of gameplay, NPCs, and CAS... how is an android/Iphone supposed to successfully support that?

I have gotten every interation of the Sims, but im done. 70+ dlc is wild, and the sims 4 is so glitchy and constantly breaking, and yes, there's some gameplay in Sims 4 we dont have in other sims games, but its just sad how little effort feels like has been put into Sims now. I'll watch simmers play Renee and their other games, but that's that. They are done getting my money. Feels a little bittersweet

It’s not “leaked”; the info is released by EA to distract Simmers from the current state of the Sims franchise and EA’s greedy business practices. Personally, I will not be playing Sims 5.
I refuse to be taken advantage of by EA any further. I look forward to there being more competition in the simulation game market in the future.

It’s astonishing that the Sims team is incapable of reading the room. To release these clips when they just release the 2nd ER patch in a week for a kit… a KIT! At this point I have zero faith in EA and their team. Project Rene needs to stay behind the scenes until Sims 4 is in a better state. Between For Rent and Jewlery Kit, the teams to re-establish their credibility JMO 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wish I was excited about this but the way they are handling sims 4 it makes me not feel happy about it. It makes me think if this is how they treat us and the game that has been funding them for years how am I supposed to trust they’ll be different with this one. It just feels like they’re trying to distract us.

I think right now most of the community is fuming about the latest kit breaking everyone’s games… so this “leak” that I’m sure was supposed to make people excited is having the opposite effect… ea needs to read the room before they put out other stuff and fix their ish* first. Only reason my game is working is thanks to the modders working their butts off to fix what ea broke—but it should not have to be them who fixes things.

Also— I didn’t even buy the kit. The update alone messed up my game enough. No way am I going to buy the kit if just the update is messing up my game this bad… 🤷‍♀️

I think project Rene is the next version of sims mobile and the project dolores that the sims community talked about a week ago is actually going to be sims 5.

It's free because they know we wont buy it. It's on mobile because they know they won't buy it... The truth? No one wants to buy it and they know it hence they are reaching for the poor kids who only have phones aka the Devs are all just animal crossing players who would rather play that than their own game.

I refuse to update my game rn so even if I did want more content, I can’t play it 😂 and as far as other games, EA is too ok with serving us broken products and promises.
