This plane likely hit the water at high speed, the fuselage disintegrated into thousands of pieces. The engines may be intact, but that's all they'll likely find.

Id almost bet the lake had flipped over so many times now, its going to be pure luck to find the motors, with metal detection even, buried in sand now. Sonar wont find them buried.
