That's sweet, when I was 14 I accidentally opened my door to quickly and it hit the door of the car parked next to it, it didn't leave a scratch and it wasn't a hard hit but a lady came out and started telling me off and wouldn't accept any apologies- I was terrified and on the verge of a panic attack and my mum had to step in.

I had an experience like this with my first accident. I accidentally hydroplaned into an old beater and luckily, it didn't damage their truck too much. I was extremely sleep deprived and I was panicking, he told me that it was fine, and to go home and get some sleep. I was so grateful!!!

My last car accident I was in the lady was like, I forgot you didn't have to stop. I felt kinda bad for having to go to the hospital. I was okay but pregnant so I wasn't getting yelled at by my Dr again. I bet she was thinking I was going to milk it and try to get paid or something. She had great insurance though, and it even covered a rental for me. I told my mom, "wow I never got hit by someone with good insurance this is cool" and she didn't agree with me but trust me, it was nice lol
I didn't try to milk it so hopefully she doesn't remember me as bad or anything. I got rid of that car too, I swear it had targets on it I was in so many accidents. I've never caused an accident though

I actually got into my first accident 3 months ago but I wasn't responsible for it. A guy forgot to put his car in park when on a parking lot and the car started to roll down towards mine. I barely managed to park myself and was looking for my purse and suddenly BAM. I screamed, looked behind me and started crying. I was thinking whether I should call my dad or not but then the owner of the car came out, clearly drunk, and started yelling at me for ruining his car. I just quickly took a photo of his plate and hopped into my car and called the police instead.

Definitely not a fun experience, don't recommend, 2/10 😢

When I was like 23, I got into an accident in a parking lot. It was dusk and the sun glare was on full power, I was driving through the lane towards the parking lot exit when a car starts backing out and their rear end T-bones my car. I didn't see her reverse lights because of the sun glare and she didnt start backing out until I was basically directly behind her. I wasn't going particularly fast, maybe 10 mph?

Still, I stop, they stop, I get out and immediately say, "Is everyone ok?" The driver of the other car gets out and starts screaming at me, "Why didn't you watch where you were going? Why were you driving so fast?, etc". I was shocked. It was so unexpected to me that anyone in a car accident wouldn't immediately check to make sure no one is hurt. She berated me for the rest of the interaction. I tried my best to remain calm, stay polite and not let her anger affect me. I let her know that I didn't see her because of the sun and I was sorry. I calmly asked if she saw me before she backed out, and she dodged the question. For anyone curious, she qas 100% at fault for the accident. I wonder if she thought screaming at me would get her out of that somehow. 🤷‍♀️

My grandma was rear ended by a 16yo, the bumper of her car was already pretty messed up but the accident made it come loose. So when she got home she had me look at it and my boyfriend was like, oh let ke fix it. He just pushed it back in. No problem. I called the girl for her since it was technically my car and she was so grateful that we didn't involve insurance. She kept saying are you sure? The scratches that were already there from my gram hitting something when she backed up a year before hid whatever nee scratches this girl did 😂.
