Parachute Drop Test in Serres

Some days ago, we went all the way to the Aeroclub in Serres, in order to put our latest parachutes into test. Out there we managed to gain useful information about the design and the functionality of the parachutes which we are already using to improve them.

During this drop test, we obtained data and observations as we watched the parachutes fall and deploy successfully. Unfortunately, we encountered a minor complication as the main parachute landed on a nearby tree, the branches of which caused a small damage to its fabric. However, this didn’t make us lose any hope or motivation and we just look forward to testing the parachutes again.
