Peggy Lee was such an amazing singer, and Billie absolutely does her a lot of honor, the way she sings these songs. The duet with Debbie Harry was amazing! Billie could do a second carrer as a sultry jazz sing! She is so absolutely amazing and talented. I have loved her music from the first day I heard her! Wow! I sometimes perform this song for my husband, in a most melodramatic way, to get him laughing uncontrollably. The lyrics are inherently melodramatic, and only someone like the amazing Peggy Lee, like Debbie Harry, and Billie Eilish can take these lyrics and get an audience to take them seriously.

Something’s missing! Digging Billie’s voice, hopefully stage presence will come at some point; that whole singing to the bass player thing is odd.

Maybe it’s the camera phone presentation, but it didn’t feel like the Bowl, more like the auditorium at Hollywood High.

Debbie, bless her heart, isn’t much of a singer, but it’s nice to see her face in the place.
