Kraid's Lair - Metroid Piano Cover

Spooky Season continues, but this time I went for the alien kind of scary. I'm surprised it took me this long to do a Metroid cover because I like the Metroid soundtrack as much as I do the Legend of Zelda. I have been dabbling on this cover for some time now, but Spooktober seemed to be the perfect time to release it. This track is also known as Kraid's Hideout.

thank you very much for this wonderful and faithful interpretation. i was, for about 20 years, a video game fanatic. i’ve heard some great compositions from famous as well as obscure titled OST’s - far too many to list. this one stands out for the uncanny way the music suits the environment in which it is set and the overall theme of a dark menacing force of evil, daring, beckoning, trolling the archangels that would pursue it through the depths and snares of that elaborate maze, staffed with mindless creatures, deranged interstellar species, incensed kamikaze mutated africanized bees, lava pits, booby traps. the musical composition itself spurred me on as a kid, whereby whenever i heard that beautifully loathsome arpeggiated improvisation, i had the most intense numinous feeling of valor, stepping on every thang that would but dare get between Kraid and me, which would only delay the moment when i destroyed him on that GMaj chord, dedicating the enterprise to Almighty God. all atheist dunces shall be hunted down and introduced to the Beginning of Wisdom.

This is my favorite version so far of Kraids Lair. It's a better remix than the official Nintendo ones even.... I can feel the fight for my life as Samus Aran vs Kraid once agin. Job well done!!!
