Here in Canada you heave to use STEEL cable clips ??? Look like fencing staples, even when coming down a wooden stud wall you have to clip them to the studs, increasing the chance of damage from nails or screws from drywall or homeowners, each box has clamps to clamp the cable as it comes in and the boxes have razor sharp edges inside ??
The wire size system is bizarre, as the physical wire size gets smaller the wire gauge number goes up .when you get into industrial wiring, the cables physical size goes up so the number goes up, light switches are permitted in bathrooms and if you have a plug on your kitchen worktop it is 2 phases with a neutral and earth , and the supply that comes into you home is 2 phases and a neutral, for some reason they call it single phase ????
And if you are part of the system called the authorized contractor program, you apply for an inspection, pay a fee around $100 and they don’t even turn up
And earth sleeving is unheard of, I have seen 40 or 50 bare copper wires in a panel and it’s perfectly normal, nobody says a word
