The background fee is actually a blessing in disguise. If it deters folks from signing up, then there's the strong possibility that it won't become oversaturated like all the other apps.

I do Dispatch on the side and I enjoy it WHEN you get orders. It’s more up my street of freight movement, so far I’ve delivered anything from a couple of boxes to batteries for solar panels. Their orders are worth turning the engine on for, so much so it makes everything else seem worthless. Do one trip with Dispatch and make $150 and you’ll be debating the value of DD. However getting orders is a problem so I guess the score is 1-1 there. I’m still testing it but sitting at hotspots or busiest areas didn’t increase my chances of being assigned a load yet. Dispatch also state you need to break 18 orders reliably before you are considered a go to driver, ie a driver who gets offered an order first.

Most of what they pick up in Georgia is gallons of paint from Sherwin Williams & PPG. Tile we pick up & that can get heavy. So if you have a van or truck pay attention to your payload. Also if the tile is on a pallet, make sure they wrap it. & they do other construction pickups like hvac & stuff like that. I believe they do pay you half your pay if there is a cancel from the customer which is good. I carry my own 100/300/100 insurance so I am protected with the freight. A pro with them is you can make earnings faster in the day but more miles & most of the time a lot more weight on the vehicle. So keep your transmission in mind & know your payload! That $40 will be reimbursed if your busy in youre area. Also if they use the same company as one of the food delivery apps, & you’ve done a background with them recently, you can use that & send it to them & not have to pay the $40
