Eurasian Collared Dove call. The Eurasian Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto) has a persistent three-note call. In addition to cooing, the bird makes a nasal trumpeting sound especially during flight and just before landing.

I love communicating with this dove when I'm in my back yard chillin. I use my hands to bird call and they always respond back. Birds are awesome. 😅

Saw these in Florida and were surprised by their call. I'm used to regular Mourning Doves, but then heard the call and saw the ring around their neck. It was so cool!

My favourite dove. That shreeking sound upon landing very similar to our Cape Turtle Dove although call quiet different but with the exact amount of syllables!!!!
