I got so emotional when memories started playing. I’ve been watching One Piece since i was 9 back in 99’ I’m 31 now. This brought so many memories. It was like watching it again for the first time as a child.

When Memories start playing, it's like I'm passing through time. The weight of the story of over 20 years really struck my heart. It feels like it's just yesterday even though we are now in 900+ episodes that sums up a 2 decades of our life.

I have lost 1 friend due to Covid, whom i used to enjoy One Piece with since i was 5 years old. He may never knew the ending, he may never see luffy become the king, but i will live on to carry on his love to this series, and hopefully meet him in afterlife to tell him the ending of One Piece

this is the best reaction video for this episode. I was 13 when it was first aired in my country (2002) together with my 3 brothers, and we watched the series until we are college. After college my other brothers stopped watching because how busy they became, and I'm the only one left watching this weekly. Then this episode happened, and I was all alone now with my 2 month old kid and wife, and I was crying like this because I remembered all the joys I had with my brothers watching One piece. For all of us who never doubted that One Piece is real since Day 1, this is Oda's thank you episode for us. I want to call my brothers after this episode but I stopped myself because I know one day they will also catch up with One Piece and I don't want to spoil them at least.

Anime did amazing job with this scene. I was crying when I saw Roger laughing panel in the manga. Your reactions show how emotionally invested and attached you are with this show similar to us which makes us like you even more. Thank You for sharing these moments with us.
My friends have called me JB for years and when Joy Boy was first mentioned a decade ago by Robin I adopted the initials as JoyBoy then and there. Roger saying that line about Joy Boy made me say, "NO!!! I want to live in your era."
