B.C. Election 2024: What To Expect Election Night

Since the BC workforce is more populated by small business owners and employees I'd say conservative policies would work out better for working people. The ndp has been a disaster for the working class. Standard of living has plummeted with the once widespread dream and real possibility of home ownership (and the building of equity) now a pipe dream for most people who didn't get in on the ground floor of what has become a ponzi scheme. A ponzi scheme constantly being kept going by government itself. This current government in BC is inept and ideologically dogmatic to the point of ruination. And the greens are the same. I got a letter in the mail from former BC green party leader Andrew Weaver who now supports the conservatives. If that doesn't tell you something you need to open your eyes and ears.

If you've lived here long enough, you know it's always close... and you also knew that Conservatives were always hiding under the Liberal skirt (like cowards). So the current results are not surprising. C'mon - many of us thought the Conservatives would win by a landslide because most BC Liberals/United are Conservatives AND the anti-left climate in Canada. I'm surprised that the BC NDP are doing so well but BC has always been very about doing the right thing and helping those who need it most. It's really the rural areas and the changing faces in the urban areas that have been against helping the poor, the needy, and the outsiders. But it's a democracy - just don't be a hypocrite. For example, if you're a non-white and voted Conservative, you have ZERO right to complain about racism. You just voted for the most racist and bigoted party of all LOL Don't believe me - let's see what happens when they take power (now or in the future). Yes, they will because that is how politics works in BC and in Canada... eventually we switch governments when we get tired of them. That's just life. Let's revisit this down the road.
