You make my days with videos. You are awesome. Just eat healthy food and sleep 6 to 8 hours. Have a nice day, mate.

I proposed this same idea to Konstantin Batygin a year ago, his opinion was "The belt of smaller objects would have to share the orbital characteristics of P9 and that does not arise naturally". I would tend to agree. Replacing Planet 9 with some unknown number of smaller objects means you then have to explain how they ALL came to share the same inclination, same eccentricity.

The ring would explain why we haven't found P9, but it simultaneously creates the problem of how did the ring come into existence. Such as how do you get the inclination and eccentricity of the objects in the ring and how do get them to differ from the objects we've used to predict the existence of the ring.

As well why haven't we found any of the objects in ring yet. After all there are reasons why we may not have found P9 such as it being in a phase of it's orbit that makes it's movement difficult to detect from Earth, but you can't say that about a ring. A ring would have material all phases of the orbit including in the area of space where we found the objects that originally sparked the P9 hypothesis. Smaller objects may be easier to miss, but somehow we'd have to have missed hundreds or maybe even thousands of them.

What if that mass of debris IS the remnants of planet 9. Maybe far in our past there was a collision?

Planet Nine isnt missing, we know exactly where Pluto is at.

They don't know. They should just say that. How hard can it be?

I think the idea of a vast ring of all that raw material is just as, if not more, exciting as some ice giant we couldn't do anything with. With 10 Earth's worth of mass, every family could own their own asteroid if we wanted 👍😀

What do I think? I think I'm with you... I don't like to do the math, either! 😂😎 Love your stuff!

What...no planet 9? The Niburu apocalypse has been cancelled again? I still have Niburu sighting vids show up in my feed at least once a week even though I haven’t watched one in a long time.

Would it be possible if you talked about "Bootes Void" in one of your future videos? I'm really, really curious as to what you think about it.

Not to rain on the parade, the explanation does seem plausible, but finding smaller trans Neptunian objects isn't good evidence against Planet 9. It is a region with a bunch of such objects. We are looking in those directions, the odds of seeing a random object previously undetected out there are quite good. With or without P9, those are expected to exist all over the area, no news there. P9, on the other hand, is large relative to other planets, but in terms of terrestrial or near Earth observation it is still a spec. Looking for a singular, specific spec we just have general guesses about (i.e. not many specifics to use as a guide) in an incomprehensible large 3D region. That is much harder to do.

Planet 9 search data is only 50 percent completed, it will take another 3 years, so way too soon to say...

Let’s state this simple fact - we simply do not yet know the truth whether Planet 9 or this vast disk of smaller objects exists,
Though it seems strange why this disk, if it exists, has not been detected yet. Space is huge and distances vast,
And so there may be one or more additional planets in the Solar System or there may be not, and it may be many years before the
Answer is known. It may be 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years, maybe even longer, before another planet is discovered, if it exists. I think one should not
Be dogmatic about whether one or more planets in our Solar System, keep an open mind about it, let astronomers keep searching and time
Eventually will tell us the answer to the question. But we shall probably have to be very patient.

If it were a gas giant or even better an ice giant, would that not mean it would be quite reflective? I know it's extremely far away, but you'd think at least enough light could be detected to at least catch a miniscule skeptical glimpse of it.

Since the sun's gravitational field extends a light year or two, wouldn't the suggest that there has to be way more planets out there?
