Walking Up Skadarlija Vintage Street in Belgrade, Serbia

Skadarlija Street is known as the "Bohemian Quarter," and is a must-see when you’re visiting Belgrade. It’s a cute cobbled-stone pedestrian street, lined with small shops selling souvenirs, art, baked goods, coffee, rakija, and craft beer. There are also many traditional Serbian restaurants, and if you visit Skadarlija street in the evening, the air is filled with the sounds of happy diners and live music. Each of the traditional restaurants has their own traditional band, or sometimes two, who go around from table to table and serenade the guests. If you’re looking for traditional music, singing, and a vibrant atmosphere, Skadarlija Street is the place to be.
