If Cyclops can block his lasers with his eyes then does that mean his eyelids are almost indestructible?

I know! Haha. Honestly, I was very short on time. I had to research, record, edit, and upload in about 12 hours. As soon as I finished editing I thought of many more facts I could have put in there, but who says we can't do another X-Men fact episode somewhere down the line? There's a lot of stuff there!

"Welcome to Comic Misconceptions, a show that does... stuff, I'm your host... me" — I would subscribe right after that line if I weren't already.

Storm is my favorite fictional character of all time. She's beautiful, regal, graceful and fierce. Smart and strong enough to lead the team (and she has, numerous times), but also willing to depend on her friends when need be. She has the most compassion out of any X-Man alive today (behind Nightcrawler now that he's back from the dead), but she can still fight and kill when she needs to.

She was also the first black female superhero, but she never let that define her, instead becoming a strong character in her own right.

Colossus was and is my favorite x-men. Growing up I had Eastern European parents so I had a bit of an accent I was 6'8" when I was 14 and was the strongest one in my school so I of course could relate to him. That's why I like the x-men, there is literally a character that everyone could relate to. I'm new to this channel and watching some of the videos and I like them you have a subscriber here.

Scott, I realized something: The X-Men's powers can sometimes be the exact opposite of what they are. For example, Cyclops' personality is usually calm, cool, and collected. His powers, though, are fiery and uncontrollable. Logan really wants to be a normal person with a normal life, on the contrary, his powers are that of a savage animal. Mystique wants to look like and fit in with everyone else (more so in the films), but a side effect of her powers are that she's blue, yellow eyed (with no pupils), and scarlet-haired. There are more and more examples of this.

I thought the x-men were named after the mutant "x" gene. Guess not.

My faves growing up were Jean Grey, Storm, Rogue and Nightcrawler. In the 90's the girls had all the best powers, like almost all male super heroes had super strength or something melee oriented like that but the girls had beastly strong powers by comparison. Nightcrawler was just cool, I also liked Iceman but the ways he used his powers made him look weak even though secretly he was one of the strongest.

Gambit, Mystique, Magneto, Deadpool, Wolverine, Bishop, Cable, and professor X. I wish I had read more of the comics. I got one about an ex-soldier who was hunting magneto for killing his brother. It was very good. It did a quick overview of most of the events of his life and talked about the madness that eventually won over. Did anyone know that Magneto was once turned into a baby by his own student and somehow found a way to overcome that obstacle. I don't know how though. The comic didn't go into too much detail.

I've always liked Psylocke the most, thanks primarily to Marvel vs Capcom 2 at the skating rink my best friend's aunt owned, which was my introduction to most of both of Marvel and Capcom's characters, outside of ones like Mega Man, Chun-Li, Spider-Man, and Wolverine.
However, X-23 has been growing on me too, she's a very close number 2, followed by Rogue, Surge, and Jubilee.

I definitely agree with you on Kitty Pride. Also a huge fan of Sage, who I think needs some adaptation love somewhere, even if a technopath doesn't lead to exciting action scenes.

Angel lost his wings as a result of being pinned to a wall fighting the marauders - harpoon I believe. Juggernaut is professor x's step brother, no?

5:17 Holy shit, Animorphs. That was the greatest thing ever when I was 10 (alongside Goosebumps).

The character in Animorphs who got stuck as a Red Tailed Hawk, was named Tobias!

NIghtcrawler and Iceman have both been very cool and interesting characters. Their powers are very unique--especially Iceman who seems to be very OP when it comes to controlling heat--and makes them fan-favorites.

I freaked the heck out when you mentioned animorphs. That was my jam back in the day.

Guy's name was Tobias, btw. Who couldn't change back any more.
