Kingdom Come was the first graphic novel my dad let me read. If you look close enough at the panel of all hell is breaking loose, you'll see Spiderman, Captain America, and Thor. That was my introduction to Easter eggs. Thank you, Alex Ross. You are the reason why I love stories and comics so much.

Just want to pass on that back in the late 90s, I had a color copy of KC Superman just after saving the trolly of people on my bedroom wall and that image literally saved my life, thank you so much for what you do. Kingdom Come was the peak for DC in my opinion a masterpiece. All stories should have branched off from that the characters were already at a point of being Dated. Allow the next generation of heroes to headline without the mains

Hey Mr. Ross! I don't know if you'll see my comment, but I just wanted to say that I love your artwork and all the comics that heavily features your artwork!

In my opinion, Kingdom Come is one of if not the best alternate future DC stories. The comic is a masterpiece and the fact that James Gunn is using the Superman insignia for David Corenswet's movie shows how influential it's become.

I also wanted to ask you something I'm sure you've been asked a lot. Have you ever been approached for any movie adaptations of your comics?

I myself had an idea for an epic superhero movie trilogy based on the three main DC comics you've worked on. The movies themselves would be shot back to back and would serve as a cinematic epic on par with the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The look and style would take inspiration from Sony's Spider-Verse and Robert Rodriguez's Sin City movies.

I was also thinking that these movies could do something similar to Krzysztof Kieślowski's The Three Colours Trilogy or Edgar Wright's Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy. They all have common theme, which in this case would be featuring the DC characters and what they represent. This DC film series can be known as the Never Ending Battle Trilogy, which fight for Truth, Justice, & The American Way.

Alex Ross DC Film Trilogy:

The World's Greatest Superheroes (Truth) - An anthology movie based on the collection of six oversized graphic novels with Paul Dini. This basically serves as sort of origin movie for the greatest DC heroes.

Justice (Justice) - A movie based on the limited series with Jim Krueger and Doug Braithwaite. This is a classic superhero team vs. supervillain team movie that pays tribute to classic superhero stories.

Kingdom Come (The American Way) - A movie based on the Elseworlds mini series with Mark Waid. This serves as the conclusion to the trilogy with a possible future for the DC heroes.

James Gunn has also mentioned DC Elseworlds films that take place in their own universes like Matt Reeve's Batman series and Todd Phillips' Joker series.

Another neat thing about this trilogy idea is that previous actors who portrayed DC characters could return to give one last performance as these characters. Henry Cavill could be brought back to give him a Superman related trilogy and Michael Keaton could be brought back to play an older Batman in Kingdom Come one last time.
