At first I thought she was so tough the rhino would not fight her. But when he licked her face, that is something a puppy would do. He was greeting his mommy. She gave him that downward look of "Here;s my sweet baby."

Not gonna lie, Okoye and M’Baku were the standouts in this film.

I think it's very telling about their relationship. It's his rhino but given their relationship she would obviously have a bond without too. And while we praise her strong will. He surrendered purely because of his love her. She may be willing to fight him. But he was not willing to hurt her

This is a very powerful scene, both in the fact that Okoye stopped the rhino mid charge and her echoing the deleted scene with W’kabi in what they’d do for Wakanda in that she’d protected Wakanda against foreign and domestic terrorizing.

I love this scene and rewatch it often. The pain in her voice tells me she would hate to kill him but the conviction tells me she would do it anyway....
