My family got a blue chihuahua puppy last year for a deep discount because she has a heart murmur. Turns out she has a dysfunction in one of her heart valves and will need surgery to repair it. It’s not all bad news though, she has a family that absolutely loves her to pieces, and she’s a pretty happy little doggie. I am trying to get her surgery scheduled sooner rather than later, but my in-laws are in charge of her veterinary care.

Adult chihuahua's can follow any other breeds toilet regime, and even stretch it further if it's a rainy day? Just feed him/her after the first short walk, take a longer walk later on, then feed again after late evening walk. IF an accident happens, still do the walk. Try keeping the diet consistent, as just grams of one goodie can throw of the balance.
It's not rocket surgery to keep one of the most popular breeds in the world.

I got nemo (who was a 15 pound chihuahua at one point) when i was 12 and i still love the hell out of that dog. I moved houses and unfortunately due to my work hours its unfair to have him with me. But everytime i go back home to visit hes jumping up and down all over the place and getting the zoomies because im back home. My first chihuahua, Paco, died in January 2021 just three months short of his 18th birthday. I currently have a chiweenie, Desiree, who is about 4 years old. Her size is more like that of a dachshund. Her BoyToy, Diego el diablito tazmañio, will be 2 on January 1st and is pure chihuahua and weighs 11.4 pounds. A lot of purebred chihuahuas can get this big. Their son, Dewey, is 3/4 chihuahua and 1/4 dachshund as near as I can tell. I have a foster, Petey, who looks to be a chihuahua/terrier mix.
