I usually hit stingers around the green with my pitching wedge. Except my stingers are so good, they don’t even get off the ground. I bladed one the other day that I’m pretty sure traveled about 500 yards without getting more than an inch off the ground. In fact, it might still be rolling.

I can hit the stinger too. Every time I go for it I take a divot like an inch behind the ball and it goes 130 yards but usually low and in the fairway. Valuable shot.

Got it.. so speed the hips up and slow the hands down, but keep your hip speed consistent and don’t get your hands stuck.. make sure to finish shoulder high but only after you compress the ball with perfect weigh distribution. Keep in mind elevation change, and only get the air density from Bryson because his measurements are correct. Sometimes I’m not good this.

Aw man, I read 'How to hit a stranger' and could instantly relate. Similar technique tho - aim straight down the Fairway, swing as hard as you can: good chance you'll knock it close to the group on the next fairway over.
